ERequired Documents

  1. A list of interested parties with name, email, and phone number was developed. It includes local community residents, businesses, large- and small-scale agriculture, academic institutions, relevant state and local agencies, federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and community organizations. This list of over 150 stakeholders was used throughout a 17-month long GSA formation process for notification of public meetings, notifications, and updates related to discussions on the SGMA. The composition of the GSA Board was designed to provide the representation of all of the beneficial users in the Basin. Representatives from each of the local agencies eligible under SGMA participated in several public meetings, in discussions related to the formation of standing advisory committees and at the regular and frequent GSA formation meetings throughout the formation process. In addition, the IWVGA Board appointed community members to a Policy Advisory Committee and a Technical Advisory Committee as needed and as described in Section 7.04 of the IWVGA Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (JPA) and Article 7 of the IWVGA Bylaws.
