AGSA Eligibility Determination

  1. The McMullin Area Groundwater Sustainability Agency (MAGSA) was formed as a Joint Powers Authority that is comprised of the County of Fresno, the Raisin City Water District and the Mid-Valley Water District. The County of Fresno has land use authority of the portion of the basin that MAGSA intends to manage. The Mid-Valley and Raisin City Water Districts are California Water Districts formed under the provisions of Water Code sections 34000-38500 with the ability to acquire, plan, construct, maintain, improve, operate and keep in repair the necessary works for production, storage, transmission, and distribution of water for irrigation, domestic, industrial, and municipal purposes.
