The California Statewide Groundwater Elevation Monitoring (CASGEM) Program's mission is to establish a permanent, locally managed program of regular and systematic monitoring in all of California's alluvial groundwater basins. This mission is accomplished via Monitoring Entities notifying and collaborating with the Department to collect and report groundwater elevations via standard and alternative monitoring techniques.

The table below provides the entity who submitted the CASGEM Notification and the underlying Basin. The hyperlink in the Notification ID column provides additional information for specific Notifications. Only CASGEM Notifications using alternative monitoring techniques are required to have an official monitoring plan. For those Notification's using standard techniques, the groundwater wells being monitored are listed on the individual Notification's page.

For additional information concerning the MNM's CASGEM and Voluntary Submodules, please review the CASGEM and Voluntary Submodules' user manuals.
