Method used to calculate change in storage
Changes in groundwater storage within the Bear Valley Basin were estimated through analysis of the water budget for the basin. Comparison of the groundwater inflow elements of the water budget with the outflow elements for water year 2022/23 shows a change in storage of approximately 5,569 acre-ft.
