E Change in Storage
Method used to calculate change in storage
Unconfined aquifer change in storage is estimated from a comparison between Fall 2021 water surface elevation contours and Fall 2020 water surface contours and applying yield factors based on studies. Confined aquifer change in storage is estimated from use of the InSAR subsidence data set and assuming a 1:1 ratio between volume of water released in the confined aquifer and ground deformation.
