Method used to calculate change in storage
Due to data gaps and data collection issues, current groundwater datasets are considered insufficient for estimating the total change of groundwater storage for WY 2021. The IWVGA has taken steps to resolve the data collection issues and has discussed these issues with DWR staff. Please see the WY 2021 Annual Report for further explanation and a discussion of groundwater levels observed between 2015 and 2021.
