AGSA Eligibility Determination

  1. Pursuant to Water Code Section 10723, on August 10, 2021, the County of Sacramento Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) combined with Sacramento County Water Agency, forming the Sacramento County GSA, accepting GSA management responsibility for unmanaged areas in the Solano Subbasin . Pursuant to Water Code Section 10724, on July 1, 2017 the County of Sacramento notified the California Department of Water Resources of its acceptance of presumed GSA management responsibility for unmanaged areas within the County's jurisdiction.
