Provide a description of your local agency's water supply, water management, or land use responsibilities within the groundwater basin / basins you intend to manage.
The Semitropic Water Storage District is a California Water Storage District formed and operating pursuant to and in accordance with Division 14 of the California Water Code and overlies a portion of the Kern County Subbasin of the San Joaquin Valley Groundwater Basin portion of the Tulare Lake Hydrologic Region, as defined in Bulletin 18 of the California Department of Water Resources, and is therefore a "Local Agency" a defined within the California Water Code Section 10721 (n).

The Semitropical GSA Boundary recognizes a small area in the South Eastern Portion of the District as being in the Buena Vista GSA.

Provide a list of interested parties developed pursuant to Water Code Section 10723.2 and an explanation of how their interests will be considered in the development and operation of the GSA and the development and implementation of the GSP.
The attached file provides the list of interested parties for the proposed Semitropic GSA. It is the Intent of the Semitropic GSA as a member of the Kern Groundwater Authority to work collaboratively with the Kern Groundwater Authority to develop as Single GSP which will include those entities that have elected to have the Kern Groundwater Authority be their GSA along with the Semitropic GSA.
