AGSA Eligibility Determination

Provide a description of your local agency's water supply, water management, or land use responsibilities within the groundwater basin / basins you intend to manage.
The Merced Subbasin GSA JPA is formed by six public agencies with water management or land use authority in the Merced Subbasin, each eligible to form a GSA. Member agencies include: County of Merced, County of Mariposa, Le Grand-Athlone Water District, Merquin County Water District, Plainsburg Irrigation District and Stevinson Water District.

Other agencies proposing to manage groundwater in the Merced Subbasin include the Turner Island Water District GSA and the proposed Merced Irrigation District and urban agencies GSA.
