Methods Used to Determine
The historical Solano IHM application and inputs used in GSP development were updated and expanded for this Annual Report using available data and information about water supplies and uses since the GSP water budget perriod. Surface Water Use was estimated from the Solano IHM and from the following Data Sources, Solano Project Diversions Reports (diversions into SID distribution system and direct deliveries from Putah South Canal), TruePoint delivery records (deliveries from SID distribution system) and compiled eWRIMS data for water rights users where available; estimated from historical data when data not yet available

E Change in Storage
Method used to calculate change in storage
Groundwater storage change was calculated based on the change in groundwater levels between the 2023 and 2024 seasonal high groundwater elevation contours. Seasonal high measurements made in the Winter/Spring provide a more reliable method to calculate change in groundwater storage than measurements made from seasonal low measurements that may be influenced by residual groundwater pumping. The change in groundwater elevation between each seasonal high in consecutive years was multiplied by the specific yield for the Shallow zone and the storativity value for the Deep zone both aquifer storage coefficients were extracted from the model.
