A public notice was sent to Madera County, Merced County, and City of Chowchilla on August 2, 2024 announcing the planned adoption of the Revised GSP by all four Chowchilla GSAs. On August 2, 2024, the Revised GSP had a 30-day public review period that ended on September 2, 2024. On August 16, 2024, the Chowchilla GSAs had a Revised GSP Public Workshop. On September 11, 2024, notices were also provided by Madera County and by the City of Chowchilla. The notices indicated that the County and City were each aware for more than 90 days of the Chowchilla GSAs' process of revising and resubmitting the GSP. The County and City were aware of the process for more than 90 days from the date of the notices and consulted directly and through consultants with all parties throughout the process. On January 15, 2025, the Revised GSP had another 30-day public review period that ended on February 15, 2025. On January 24, 2025, the Chowchilla GSAs had another Public Workshop to review revisions to the Revised GSP and receive input from the public.
