  4. The GSAs in the Butte subbasin entered into a Cooperation Agreement for the purpose of developing and implementing a single GSP> Per the Cooperation Agreement, the GSAs in the Butte subbasin formed the Butte Advisory Board in part to afford the public a single venue to engage in the development of the GSP. The Butte Advisory Board meetings are facilitated through Technical Support Services provided by DWR. Additionally, a mailing list of those interested in the development of the Butte subbasin GSP is maintained. Individuals are notified of meeting and opportunities to comment on the GSP. The Butte subbasin GSAs have established a process to present initial draft GSP chapters to the public prior to subjecting the draft chapters to a 30 day public comment period.
