Byron-Bethany Irrigation District (BBID) is a multi-county special district that spans 47 square-miles located on the west side of the Delta & San Joaquin Valley, BBID provides water for both irrigation and municipal & industrial use within its 30,000 acre service area. The District provides raw water for agricultural & municipal and industrial use within Alameda, Contra Costa, & San Joaquin counties.

BBID spans 3 counties. BBID Service area boundary is the same as the BBID GSA area boundary only in Contra Costa & San Joaquin Counties.
