Provide a description of your local agency's water supply, water management, or land use responsibilities within the groundwater basin / basins you intend to manage.
Mission Springs Water District is a county water district formed in 1953 pursuant to Water Code sections 30000 et seq., with statutory authority and exclusive responsibility to provide water service within its 135 square mile boundaries, including the authority to manage, protect and replenish the groundwater supply on which its statutory water service relies.
