AGSA Eligibility Determination

Provide a description of your local agency's water supply, water management, or land use responsibilities within the groundwater basin / basins you intend to manage.
San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District (Valley District) is a State Water Contractor that imports water from the State Water Project. Before SGMA became law, Valley District organized the retail water agencies in the Yucaipa area and began to take the steps toward a groundwater management plan, now termed Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) in SGMA. Valley District has also contracted with the United States Geological Survey (USGS) to create a groundwater flow model for this basin that can be used to simulate various management strategies.
