Byron-Bethany Irrigation District (BBID) is a multi-county special district that spans 47 square-miles located on the west side of the Delta & San Joaquin Valley, BBID provides water for both irrigation and municipal & industrial use within its 30,000 acre service area. The District provides raw water for agricultural & municipal and industrial use within Alameda, Contra Costa, & San Joaquin counties.

BBID spans 3 counties. BBID Service area boundary is the same as the BBID GSA area boundary only in Contra Costa & San Joaquin Counties. In Alameda County the GSA boundary includes the area in the Tracy Sub Basin between the western BBID boundary and the western Tracy Sub Basin boundary, as shown on Map 3 in Section D2 uploaded again below.
