The Salinas Valley Basin Groundwater Sustainability Agency (SVBGSA) will decide on April 20, 2017 or thereafter whether to manage the entire Forebay Subbasin or manage the subbasin area outside of that to be managed by the Arroyo Seco Groundwater Sustainability Agency (ASGSA). The ASGSA has reached out to the SVBGSA several times to seek a cooperation agreement to cooperate and collaborate on the groundwater sustainability planning for the Forebay Subbasin. The ASGSA intends to work cooperatively with this and other agencies to jointly manage the Salinas Valley Groundwater Basin to the extent required and necessary.
  3. The Arroyo Seco Groundwater Sustainability Agency has not adopted any new law, ordinance or authority.
