Mono County's request to become the GSA for portions of the Owens Valley Groundwater Basin not within the Tri-Valley Groundwater Management District boundaries, and within Mono County jurisdiction. Mono County and the Tri-Valley Groundwater Management District have withdrawn from the Owens Valley Groundwater Authority.

  1. The Mono County Board of Supervisors will be the governing body of the GSA, interested parties will have individual supervisorial representation, their interests will be represented collectively by the whole Board, all meetings are noticed and agendized in accordance with the Brown Act. Interested parties include: Tri-Valley Groundwater Management District, Utu Utu Gwaitu Tribe, White Mountain Estates Mutual Water Company, Chalfant Valley West Mutual Water Company, Wheeler Crest Community Service District, City of Los Angeles? Department of Water and Power, Bureau of Land Management, Owens Valley Groundwater Management Authority, California Fish and Wildlife.
  2. Tri-Valley Groundwater Management District; the Owens Valley Groundwater Authority.
  3. No new by laws or ordinances have been adopted.
