• The Northern Delta GSA is an organization of over 20 eligible reclamation and water agencies within the north Delta. These agencies are within portions of the South American, Solano, and Eastern San Joaquin subbasins. The member agencies identified within each subbasin identified in the attached Figure request the boundary changes on the basis of scientific data supporting the similar nature of the hydrogeology in the Delta between areas that have high water tables, riverine influences, and low potential for future development. Each of these areas within the Delta are much more similar in their groundwater availability and use than the adjoining subbasin. Therefore, to meet the public benefits of a coordinated groundwater management agency and plan, Northern Delta GSA member agencies, specifically identified in the attached figure are proposing these modifications.
