4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POTENTIAL BASIN BOUNDARY MODIFICATION REQUEST
  • A portion of the South Yuba Groundwater Subbasin (about 2 square miles) extends south into Placer County. The proposed Internal Jurisdictional Modification would adjust the shared boundary between the North American Groundwater Basin and South Yuba Groundwater Subbasin to the north, to align the Subbasin boundary with Yuba / Placer County lines. This minor jurisdictional change will promote more efficient and sustainable groundwater management.
