4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POTENTIAL BASIN BOUNDARY MODIFICATION REQUEST
  • This would be a Jurisdictional Consolidation Basin Boundary Modification that consolidates the Bowman and Rosewood Subbasins, both of which are entirely located within Tehama County and the jurisdictional boundaries of the Tehama County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District). The District is the Exclusive Groundwater Sustainability Agency for all portions of the Bulletin 118 identified groundwater subbasins located within the external boundaries of Tehama County. Combining both of these Very Low Priority Subbasins will allow the District to complete a single Groundwater Sustainability Plan that covers these two subbasins with similar groundwater use, thereby improving the District's ability to manage the groundwater resources in a sustainable and efficient manner.
