4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POTENTIAL BASIN BOUNDARY MODIFICATION REQUEST
  • The proposed basin boundary modification is a jurisdictional and internal modification that would change the boundaries of the Tracy Subbasin (5-022.15) and the Eastern San Joaquin Subbasin (5-022.01) to align with the City of Lathrop?s boundary. The City of Lathrop currently straddles the two groundwater basins. This modification will include all of the City of Lathrop in the Tracy Subbasin and remove the City of Lathrop from the Eastern San Joaquin Subbasin. Note that the City is constructing a web page dedicated to sustainable groundwater management, which will contain information regarding the potential basin boundary modification process. This web page will be available by February 2018.
