Method used to determine
Groundwater extraction data were collected from all parties and verified by Watermaster for Water Year 2019-20. Groundwater extractions are the same as total water use and represent the sum of total water pumped by parties to the Mojave Basin Area Judgment, estimates for Minimal Producers not under the Judgment, as well as natural phreatophyte water use in the basin.
