• The proposed boundary modifications are shown in the attached map, Preliminary Map of Proposed Las Posas Valley Basin Boundary Modification (FCGMA Board Meeting, January 27, 2016, Item 4A). The proposed modification of the shared boundary between the Las Posas Valley Basin and the Pleasant Valley Basin is to follow the Springville fault (western segment of the Simi-Santa Rosa fault) as shown on map prepared by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The proposed modification of the western boundary of the Las Posas Valley Basin, shared with the Oxnard Basin, is to incorporate the Wright Road fault (as published by USGS). The proposed modified western boundary extends northward from the western end of the Springville fault (as mapped by USGS) following the toe of slope (per USGS, The National Map, 100 foot contour) and tie into the Wright Road fault (as mapped by USGS). It is further proposed that the boundary north of the Wright Road fault continue northward along the toes of slope until it connects with the northern boundary of the Las Posas Valley Basin, west of the mapped Las Posas outcrop.
