4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POTENTIAL BASIN BOUNDARY MODIFICATION REQUEST
  • The proposed basin boundary modification is a jurisdictional modification involving a consolidation of the Vina (5-21.57), West Butte (5-21.58), East Butte (5-21.59) and North Yuba (5-21.60) subbasins and a boundary adjustment along the Butte County line except for the portion of the Yuba County Water Authority member agency parcels that extend into Butte County. The modification would create a new subbasin called the Butte Subbasin. The Butte Subbasin includes the water bearing units of the Tuscan, Laguna, Riverbank and Modesto formations.
