4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POTENTIAL BASIN BOUNDARY MODIFICATION REQUEST
  • Briefly, there are two different boundary modification requests. First, the County is requesting that DWR modify the definition of the Madera and Kings subbasins such that the southern boundary of the Madera Subbasin follows the Madera County line, and the Kings Subbasin’s northern boundary becomes the same line. Second, on behalf of the GSAs for the entire Madera Subbasin, the County will request that DWR remove the exclusion of Madera Lake from the recognized territory of the subbasin.
