4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POTENTIAL BASIN BOUNDARY MODIFICATION REQUEST
  • The City of Oceanside proposes a modification to DWR Basin No. 9-7 (San Luis Rey Valley Groundwater Basin) to establish the Upper and Lower San Luis Rey Valley Groundwater Sub-Basins to the San Luis Rey Valley Groundwater Basin at the east line of Range 3 West, San Bernardino Merdian (jurisdictional subdivision). The Lower San Luis Rey Valley Groundwater Sub-Basin would comprise the portion of the San Luis Rey Valley Groundwater Basin that is to the west of the dividing line, and the portion of the basin to the east of the dividing line would comprise the Upper San Luis Rey Valley Groundwater Sub-Basin.
