4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POTENTIAL BASIN BOUNDARY MODIFICATION REQUEST
  • The El Casco Groundwater Basin is located west of the adjudicated Beaumont Basin, southerly of the proposed Yucaipa Groundwater Basin and easterly of the proposed Bunker Hill Groundwater Basin. The El Casco Groundwater Basin had been identified by the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board as a component of the Basin Plan which sets forth stringent requirements for the Yucaipa Valley Water District regarding salinity and nutrient management.
