4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POTENTIAL BASIN BOUNDARY MODIFICATION REQUEST
  • The proposed basin boundary modification is an internal scientific modification that would subdivide the Kern County Subbasin (DWR 5-22.14) based on the hydrogeologic barriers formed by numerous documented faults, natural down dip of the Olcese Sand Formation and the confining nature of the Round Mountain Formation. The modification would result in the creation of a new subbasin called the Olcese Subbasin.
