  3. When the County led effort to have one District to serve the whole SLO County portion of the Paso Robles GWB failed at the polls we got to work forming a Water District specifically to become a GSA, specifically to cooperate actively and effectively in Sustainable Groundwater Management here in our local area. We and all our neighbors who rely on a sustainable and reliant ground water resource will all benefit from this effort. It has been a long hard road to get to this point and we are happy to be here. In all reality we have fought are way to the starting gate and now will really have to get to work....

ERequired Documents

  1. County of San Luis Obispo, the City of El Paso de Robles, the San Miguel Community Services District, the Heritage Ranch Community Services District have all formed GSAs. They along with our Shandon-San Juan GSA are working under a MOA to write a single GSP for the SLO County portion of the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin. We project that a second Water District, Estrella El Pomar Creston Water District (EPC), that is forming will become a GSA later this year and they will become a partner in our Paso Basin GSA Group upon their formation and the County of SLO relinquishing management of that portion of their GSA Boundary to the EPC GSA.
